8 Days and Counting

At the start of Winter Term, I swore to myself that I would not start counting the days until I leave for London. It's not that I'm not excited about leaving. It was just that I wanted to enjoy term as much as possible. But, I broke that promise to myself yesterday and started my own little countdown. Because of this, the realization that I am leaving in a week has fully dawned on me. It was there at the start of Winter Term, but it was in the back of my mind. Now, it is in the fore front of my mind, and I'm starting to go into freak out mode. It's the good sort of freak out mode for me because I am now starting to think of all the things I need to d before I leave. The good thing though is that a lot of the stuff has already been done, but there is still some stuff to do. Now, the stuff that awaits me is packing up here at Elon, unpacking my college stuff, repacking for London (this encompasses a lot), customizing my blog, and getting my blog out to my friends. It's a lot to do in 8 days, but I think it can happen. All in all, I'm really excited to study abroad, but just sitting here waiting for the day is making me extremely nervous. The 8 days can not come fast enough.
